About Lesson

Why is it necessary to perform ownership verification on the website?

We enable website owners to conduct a comprehensive scan of their site using a security scanner mechanism to prevent unauthorized scans by those who do not own the site.

Verification is required because owning the site makes the verification process very simple.

  1. To verify, access the “public_html” directory, in the ftp then create a new file named “verifying.txt.” Insert the following verification code into the file and save it: fxJDo1km28ttNIZwSieEmuLLM-Scanner-Verification

Download the verification code file in zip format here.

  2. Now, proceed to perform the scan.

  3. If you don’t have FTP details or are unsure how to access them, you can install a plugin called “File Manager” to perform step (1) in the verification process.

  4. If you installed the “File Manager” plugin and completed the process, please delete it from your site.

Without ownership verification, security scans for the course will not be possible.

Nevertheless, the rest of the course is free and does not require verification.
