About Lesson

It is important to perform backups regularly to preserve important data and ensure that the site can be restored in case of data loss or a system security breach. Here are some types of backups that can be implemented on the system:

  1. Manual Direct Backups: Create copies of the database, files, and images manually, and store them in a secure location outside the server.

  2. Real-time Backup Plugins: There are WordPress plugins that allow you to set up automatic backups for the database and files in real-time.

    • We recommend the All-in-One WP Migration plugin, which is easy to operate and allows for backups and restores on various platforms such as Google Drive, private FTP, and more, providing a quick backup solution with a click.

The frequency of backups depends on the storage provider:

  1. Automatic backups by the hosting provider: Ensure and request your hosting provider to back up the entire site, including databases and email addresses, at a specific time daily regularly. If your hosting provider is unable to perform this, we recommend finding an alternative storage provider quickly.

The utmost importance is to set a daily backup frequency on a monthly rotation, providing a wide variety of backups throughout the month.
